Camera Add-On
Topic: News
Fairly recently the following advert has been spotted on the Tube and posted on message boards:

Speculation followed the posting of these adverts, most of which were fairly focussed on the introduction of a camera add-on. Many people were still sceptical about until Gunky, one of the mods from the Yourpsp.com community told us: "it's a teaser campaign! If I told you what these enigmatic posters were all about it would spoil the surprise!" This obviously means that there is something being launched, and the advert can only point to the camera! Another advert seen at some bus stops has, in the same style: "Saucy e-mails won't get you fired here" This points to an e-mail client and possibly that it will be included on version 3.00 of firmware.

3.00 Firmware Rumours

Speculation about the next firmware, which is still not confirmed to be version 3.00, are rife and facts are starting to agree with each other.

One of the key features rumoured to be in 3.00 is PS3 connectivity. With the Japanese launch on the horizon Sony will want to get all of the wireless connectivity up and running.

There are a number of photographs of this supposed 3.00 firmware although you can judge for yourself whether they are real.
